Discharge prescriptions filled and ready, so you can leave the hospital with medication in hand.
Leaving the hospital shouldn't mean a separate stop at the pharmacy before you can start your medication. Through our Meds to Go program, Arrow Pharmacy partners with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford to fill discharge prescriptions in advance, so patients can leave with medication already in hand.
What's included:
- Discharge prescriptions filled before you leave the hospital
- Drug information sheets for every new medication
- A pharmacist available to answer questions about the new regimen
- Transfer of ongoing refills to the pharmacy of your choice, as a courtesy
- A follow-up phone call to help make sure nothing falls through the cracks during the transition home
